Anthrax Shenanigans:
Don’t Believe Everything You Read
An Opinion/Editorial
by Dr. Len Horowitz
May 10, 2002
Anthrax is in
the news again.(1,2) It may soon be back in the mail as well.
Particularly if you, along with other concerned, but befuddled,
Americans, fail to relay this warning and intelligence.
On May 7, 2002,
the New York Times contradicted dozens of earlier reports
and expert testimonies that the strain of the mailed anthrax
had been hyperweaponized.(3-5) Undermining his own credibility,
science investigator William Broad relied on disreputable sources
to present an alternative, highly unsupported, premise that the
attacker(s) may have concocted only a moderately weaponized Ames
strain in a crude laboratory if not private residence.
Two days later,
based on speculative science presented in the esteemed journal Science,
CNN broadcast allegations that the mailed germ “only” contained
eleven genetic sequence differences from that of the widely disseminated
Ames anthrax.(2) The technical report, written by researchers
at The Institute for Genomic Research (T.I.G.R.)—a privately
owned genetic sequencing laboratory previously implicated in
scientific misconduct, if not downright fraud,(6) and intimately
allied with very few other anthrax mailings corporate suspects,
was misconstrued by CNN. Their broadcast implied, like Broad’s
about-face, that the bioterrorist(s) had less than sophisticated
technology for advanced bioweaponry than previously thought.
A day later, USA
Today declared the complete opposite, once again. Reporter
Dan Vergano wrote that “the deadly anthrax spores responsible
for five deaths last year,” and the ensuing public panick that
provided HHS Secretary, Tommy Thompson, specious justification
to purchase nearly a half billion dollars of largely unproven
and risky vaccines and antibiotics from the leading corporate
suspects, “came from biodefense lab stocks.”(7)
I interpret these
conflicting and confusing reports as crude propaganda directed
to effect general anxiety and perplexity. Technically this media
ploy is called the Hegelian dialectic. It is an integral part
of what I call “white collar terrorism” including contemporary
bioterrorism. Military analysts and “defense” planners call it
standard “psychogical operations” or “PSYOPS” for “command and
control warfare (C2W).” The technique effects mass mind control
and confusion. This is the only rational explanation why the New
York Times and CNN would have suddenly spun away from
earlier reports that the silica powdered, electromagnetized,
hyperconcentrated, Ames strain of mailed anthrax had, indeed,
been “hyperweaponized” in a sophisticated biodefense or pharmaceutical
laboratory.
I reported on
this subject, especially this method of mass persuasion, in Death in the Air: Globalism,
Terrorism and Toxic Warfare, released three months before September
11, 2001.(8) The title says it all. The mailed aerosolized anthrax
delivering death through the air, these headlines, conflicting
reports, and ongoing confusion, best serves to incite terror
in support of military-pharmaceutical industrialists directing
U.S. Central Intelligence agents involved in multinational corporate
conspiracy that is undermining everything good about science,
medicine, and the American way of life.(9) Sounds farfetched,
if not ridiculous, doesn’t it? Unfortunately, there is little
else to conclude.
The editors of
the esteemed scientific journal The Lancet virtually agreed
with this diagnosis and poor prognosis for the civilized world.
They asked, “Just how tainted [by pharmaceutical industry interests
and payoffs] has medicine become?” They answered, “horribly”—an
adjective accurately relaying a sense of horror, appropriately
related to this issue of media promoted terror and pharmaceutical
industry sponsored bioterrorism. After all, if most of science
and medicine has been undermined by the pharmaceutical cartel,
as The Lancet editors acknowledged, then the ongoing holocaust
for profit, most aptly called “iatrogenocide,” makes the five
anthrax deaths pale by comparison.
Can these data
be rationally explained any other way? Review the facts:
By mid-December
2001, the New York Times and Washington Post published
that drug companies were leading the FBI’s rapidly shrinking
list of anthrax mailings suspects. The firms that stood to gain
most from the anthrax fright included the Bayer Corporation,
maker of the excessively expensive and largely untested antibiotic
Cipro. During World War II, Bayer was considered an enemy national
due to its governing influence over the Third Reich and the Nazi
war machine. Add to this suspect the British-owned, historically
disreputable, Bioport Corporation—the company panned by congressional
investigators who directed the Pentagon, to no avail, to cease
anthrax vaccinations of military personnel because of failed
quality controls and other corporate deficits. The only other
anthrax vaccine maker is also a primary suspect—the Battelle
Memorial Institute (BMI). This organization administers the world’s
leading military researchers and weapons developers. It also
directs the U.S. Government’s Joint Vaccine Acquisition’s Program
profiting their organization and more-so the drug makers. BMI
maintains administrative links to Bioport, and most importantly,
holds a top secret grossly illegal contract with the Central
Intelligence Agency (CIA) to prepare and test precisely this
type of hyperweaponized anthrax. The project is called “Clearvision.” Much
evidence strongly suggests this specific Ames strain was made
and mailed by BMI and CIA personnel.
In fact, when
I spoke to New York Times reporter William Broad on December
11, 2002, the day I mailed 1,500 FBI agents and 8,500 members
of the mainstream media a “special report” that heavily implicated
BMI in the anthrax mailings, Mr. Broad agreed with my analysis
saying that “all roads seem to lead to Battelle.” (For this lengthy
report, visit: http://www.tetrahedron.org/. A link
to the article may be found “In the News” section on the left
hand column of the home page.) I published therein a photograph
of the exact facility within which the specific deadly mailed
anthrax was tested at the BMI-administered Dugway Proving Grounds’ “Life
Sciences Building.” Here, top airborne bioweapons and anthrax
experts were working on “Clearvision” in violation of the International
Geneva Accord outlawing such offensive biological weapons development.
Apparently persuaded
by our discussion and this evidence, two days later, Broad published
the CIA’s anthrax connection with BMI. He cited “Clearvision” as
the name of the illegal program, and heralded evidence that,
as headlined by USA Today, the “Anthrax was from [a] biodefense
lab.”(5)
I further informed
the FBI, Mr. Broad, and the rest of the media that the British-run
Bioport (evolved from the biodefense centre Porton Down and The
Centre for Applied Microbiology & Research in England), and
affiliated BMI, had both contracted with The Institute for Genomic
Research (T.I.G.R.) to develop their anthrax vaccines. T.I.G.R.
was the private enterprise infamous for undermining scientists
laboring on behalf of the publicly funded Human Genome Project.
Their officials, in essence, robbed the patent rights for genetic
discoveries on behalf of company officials and investors—principally
George Soros who received his main financial support and mission
from the German Rothschild banking family. Soros has thereafter
operated primarily on behalf ninety-nine of Europe’s wealthiest
families including the British oligarchy.
Therefore, how
much faith can we have in the USA Today article, based
on T.I.G.R.’s report in Science, that allegedly “ruled out” The
Centre for Applied Microbiology & Research, and English biodefense
lab as a chief anthrax mailing suspect? An independent investigation
is clearly and urgently indicated.
Stunningly, the
principle source of William Broad’s new “knowledge” regarding
the mailed anthrax was another man who changed his story, national
allegiance, and paymasters. His name is Dr. Kanatjan Alibekov
(alias, “Ken Alibek”)—the Russian defector that directed the
Soviet Union’s biological weapons program with special expertise
in anthrax. In an earlier report published by Broad in the New
York Times,(4) Dr. Alibek stated that the mailed anthrax
was twice as concentrated and lethal, that is hyperweaponized,
as anything he had produced for the Russians during the Cold
War. Now, he is virtually saying the opposite, according to Broad.(1)
Curiously, Dr.
Alibek defected to the United States, and began working for the
CIA and BMI, just in time for the rapidly escalating bioterrorism
agenda largely initiated, if not instigated, during the late
1990s. According to New Yorker reporter Richard Preston,
whose credibilty is equally tarnished by earlier analyses,(10)
Alibek is not only under CIA contract, but does classified work
for BMI as well. The root word for “defector” adequately describes
Dr. Alibekov’s honesty. His trustworthyness is grossly defective.
Along with his American counterpart—anthrax expert William J.
Patrick, III, who joined a small number of scientists, including
T.I.G.R.’s director and Bioport’s primary subcontractor (now
owned by the Hoechst–Aventis drug company), in persuading President
Clinton to stockpile the anthrax and smallpox vaccines beginning
in 1998. Since William Patrick delivered a classified report
to BMI and the CIA regarding mailed anthrax only months before
the actual mailings, he joins his personal friend and colleague
Dr. Alibekov on the extremely short list of primary suspects
most incriminated by the accumulated evidence.
Unfortunately,
this evidence is being secreted by the FBI on behalf of the CIA.
This is among the most reasonable explanations why the FBI’s
investigation has faltered so despicably.
For all the above
facts, and media misperceptions, I decided to recirculate the “special
report” that I believe had a lot to do with the welcomed disappearance
of misleading anthrax reports in the media early this year. I’ve
linked it to this editorial in case you missed it the first time.
It was received by more than 450,000 Americans. It is titled, “The
CIA’s Role in the Anthrax Mailings: Could Our Spies be Agents
for Military-Industrial Sabotage, Terrorism, and Population Control?” This
report offers the most revealing facts that lead me conclude
the world’s greatest bioterrorists are intimately connected to
the multinational pharmaceutical cartel. Moreover, cartel directors
mainly reside in New York City, Berlin, and London. If you simply
read and forward this report to your friends, family, and activist
networks, you will be of great help in stopping this deadly ruse.
A metaphor for
this political action and assertion, this urging, is the quick
disappearance of darkness in a room when you strike a match or
light a candle. Simply and similarly, the darkness of deception
cannot operate within the light of truth. By relaying these important
truths to hundreds of thousands, hopefully millions, of Americans,
our combined small candle lights will form a blazing torch that
might disappear anthrax from our mail and media forever.
About the author:
Dr. Len Horowitz
is a Harvard graduate, internationally known authority in public
health, and the author of numerous scientific reports and thirteen
books including the national best-seller, Emerging Viruses: AIDS & Ebola—Nature,
Accident or Intentional? (Tetrahedron, LLC, 1998; 1-888-508-4787)
The U.S. General Accounting Office is currently investigating
the thesis he pioneered on the “man-made origin of AIDS” deriving
from the NCI’s “Special Virus Cancer Program,” whose affiliated
contractors apparently initiated the AIDS pandemic by way of
HIV contaminated vaccines. He recently testified before a congressional
investigating committee concerning the rapidly escalating autism
epidemic and its links to vaccine ingredients. Moreover, he was
among the hundreds of scientists recently interrogated by the
FBI regarding the anthrax mailings. His first official anthrax
report to the FBI on October 1, 2001, urging an immediate investigation
into the aforementioned vaccine makers concerning this predictable “anthrax
scam,” predated by one week the first anthrax attack on the American
Media, Inc. building in Boca Raton, Florida. Even more prophetic,
his book Death in the Air: Globalism,
Terrorism and Toxic Warfare, predated by three
months the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington. This
book details the primary instigators of global terrorism and
bioterrorism discussed above. His writings are extraordinary
and potentially life saving. Please link to http://www.tetrahedron.org/ for
